Although this site concerns itself with Digital Story Telling (DST), the reality is that there are many wonderful sites that show case DST tools and DST techniques. We point you in that direction.
However, we also focus specifically on educators who want to use DST as a way of allowing students to explore issues that are focussed around dilemmas in cultural, social or ethical issues.
In other words DST may be a useful tool for educators who are interested in having their students explore ‘grey’ areas. We believe that DST has the potential to explore these issues with far greater engagement than a traditional essay because students are often forced to consider the engagement and interest of their potential audience which does not have to be only their teacher.
We call this ‘Two Voice Digital Story Telling’, or TVDST.
